The Yamaha DTX500K Electronic Drum Kit is the latest electric kit from Yamaha, featuring the brand new and updated DTX500 Sound Module, plus a set of pads giving excellent playability and feel, all mounted on a sturdy rack.
The DTX500 module is the latest upgrade from Yamaha featuring 449 different drum and percussion sounds, which can be edited and stored (50 preset kits / 20 User kits)... so you've got all the sounds you'll need right at the touch of a button! Rock kits, funk kits, jazz kits, hip hop kits.... the possibilities are endless! many of the samples are taken from Yamahas famous acoustic kits such as the beech custom etc.. Or you could turn all the toms into congas, the bass into a cowbell and the cymbals into industrial noises... The only limit is your imagination! The DTX500 sound module is triggered by Yamaha TP65 pads (snare, 3x toms), hihat and 2x cymbal pads, plus a KP65 bass drum pad with pedal.
